My state, Illinois, governor was arrested on corruption charges! How lovely...
And now the Democrats are fighting over the Senate seat available in IL. Harry Reid says he will not seat anyone picked by Blago, while Roland Burris, the guy picked by Blago, has an attorney who is playing the race card.
Impeach Blago, get Pat Quinn, Lt. Gov. of IL in there, and let's have a good Republican elected in 2010 (i.e. not the liberal-Republican, Judy Barr Topinka, who ran against Blago acouple years ago when he was up for reelection).
