75% in 18 months... hmmm. From a conservative standpoint, I applaud the given-reasoning behind it, but personally, I think it is a ploy. Barry is dealing with a $2T deficit. Much higher and people will begin to worry.
So, tell the public we have a $2T deficit thanks in part to the Bush Administration, and roll out an additional $825B - $1T plan, but only do part of it in THIS budget year, therefore making it look like Barry is doing ALOT with ALOT of nothing. Great marketing plan. Lousy economic plan.
