So, yesterday, I was outside in my backyard. I was fixing the flat tire on my Mom's Buick, actually. And up drives my neighbors boyfriend. And, while that would seem normal, what he said to me was not.
See, yesterday was Obamessiah Day, or the inauguration of Barry Hussein Obama to the Presidency. And this neighbor obviously had noticed the bumper sticker (a McCain/Palin bumper sticker, no doubt) on one of our vehicles parked in our yard. So he drives on by, gets out and says, "Help save us Obama".
Now, at first, being the Conservative young man I am, I thought nothing about it and just smiled back in gesture. I am not one to shove down someone's throat my political beliefs, unless they're ready for a discussion on politics. I will be honest, it took me several minutes to realize why he likely said that (one of our cars happened to be parked with the rear facing his girlfriend's home for awhile, apparently showcasing our lovely McCain/Palin bumper sticker, which I have yet to remove).
But that this person, whom I have never personally met, has the audacity (not of hope) to say that was just.. down right left-wing liberal of him. To be honest, if McCain had won, I wouldn't be shouting "GIMME MY TAX CUTS McCAIN, SUCKER!" at him.
It just goes to show ya the difference between a conservative, Republican and a left-wing liberal. Complete oppposites and on the left, complete lack of respect.
