That is honestly the only way I can describe my reaction to the news of a board member for a local school district here in Illinois having made this statement with the local newspaper: "I just think we need more time, if we could just put this off a little further,” possibly until May when the district would learn the true impact of corporate replacement tax revenue as well as local and state funding, the projections may not come to fruition, Parker said. Honestly, it makes me sick to hear people say that. To be honest, that person is likely one of those same individuals that tells herself that same thing (just put it off til.. lala) when it comes to their credit card bill. Saddd. And THIS IS A BOARD MEMBER OF A SCHOOL BOARD!!! What are these people teaching kids?! How to suck money from the federal government. Woww.
